Position Summary:
As an Engineer, Planning Analytics, you will develop, optimize, and deploy end‑to‑end TM1 solutions – building and maintaining cubes, dimensions, rules, and high‑performance TI processes that safeguard data integrity and performance. You will implement TM1Py/TI automations, build integrations to enterprise data sources, and design PAW dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights. You will partner with cross‑functional teams, contribute to training and user support, and uphold data quality/security and documentation standards.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:
$101,167 to $204,439 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
$91,970 to $185,853 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
$82,773 to $167,268 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.
Essential Job Functions:
• Solution Architecture & Design: Develop, optimize and deploy end-to-end Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions; contribute to technical design reviews and ensure system stability.
• Technical Development & Modeling: Build and maintain cubes, dimensions, business rules, and high-performance Turbo Integrator (TI) processes that safeguard data integrity and optimize performance; deliver assigned projects on time.
• Automation & Innovation: Implement TM1Py- and TI-based automations to reduce manual effort and streamline data integration and reporting workflows.
• Reporting & Visualization: Develop, enhance, and optimize Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights.
• Business Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• System Integration: Implement integrations between Planning Analytics and enterprise data sources and systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouse) to ensure seamless data flow.
• Data Quality, Security & Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity and security; create and update solution documentation; participate in code and documentation reviews.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Support the Planning Analytics Cloud environment, including licensing and troubleshooting performance issues.
• User Enablement: Contribute to end-user training materials; provide technical assistance, troubleshoot reports/models/cubes, and respond to bug inquiries.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development team and share knowledge; stay current on new Planning Analytics technologies.
Education:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum:
5+ years of experience in Planning Analytics (TM1) development.
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum:
• Strong practical skills with PAW, SQL, MDX, Feeders, Python/TM1Py, and Turbo Integrator; solid multidimensional cube design.
• Strong testing techniques skills.
• 1+ years supporting Planning Analytics infrastructure in the cloud.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts; exposure to accounting, analytics, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Exposure to accounting, analytics, budgeting and forecasting concepts and process requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; self-starter with initiative and ownership.
• Ability to support, troubleshoot and resolve off-hours issues.
• Ability and willingness to mentor and train Planning Analytics users.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel integration with Planning Analytics.
Preferred
• Experience building ML-enabled budget/forecasting solutions in Planning Analytics is a strong plus.
