Overview

Position Summary:

The Sr. Digital Content & Communications Specialist is a key team member responsible for integrating, optimizing, and evolving the digital platforms, tools, and processes that support all sales and field communications. This role bridges communications, marketing technology, and analytics—ensuring the right content reaches the right audience at the right time and delivers measurable business value. Working closely with functional stakeholders, this role ensures best-in-class digital engagement, drives innovation, and leverages performance data to continuously improve communication effectiveness and efficiency throughout the agent network.

 

The Sr. Digital Content & Communication Tech Lead reports to the Manager of Business Content & Communication.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

 

$74,955 to $130,915 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$68,141  to $119,013 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$61,327  to $107,112  (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

 

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Responsibilities

Digital Content Integration & Delivery

Oversee the end-to-end integration and publishing of communications across digital platforms (intranets, portals, email, content management systems, mobile apps, etc.), ensuring resources are accessible, timely, and relevant to agency and field audiences.

 

Marketing Technology Management

Evaluate, implement, and optimize marketing technology stacks—including content management systems (e.g., Seismic), analytics platforms, email marketing tools (Hubspot), and other MarTech solutions used to deliver and track communications.

 

Channel Optimization & Innovation

Identify and champion new digital formats, channels, and delivery techniques to enhance engagement, reach, accessibility, and operational efficiency for all agent and sales-facing content.

 

Performance Analytics & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on content performance metrics (engagement, open/click rates, usage, etc.), partnering with content creators to interpret findings and develop actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and performance of all digital communication efforts.

 

Content Governance & Compliance

Maintain best-practice processes for version control, content tagging, platform administration, and digital compliance requirements (including accessibility standards).

 

Continuous Learning & Tech Enablement

Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and MarTech innovations. Proactively recommend and implement pilot programs, process enhancements, or new tools that add strategic value to the organization.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

 

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field.  

Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications in Marketing Technology, Digital Strategy, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. 

 

Experience: 

Minimum:  

3+ years of experience working with digital marketing tools, content management systems, or marketing operations. 

Experience managing digital channels and platforms and working in cross-functional teams. 

Experience in the P&C insurance industry and working cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, field/sales, compliance, or IT. 

 

Preferred:  

Experience supporting digital transformation, content automation, or digital adoption projects. 

Proven record of analyzing and reporting on digital content effectiveness. 

 

Skills & Abilities:

 

Minimum:  

Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills. 

Proficiency with CMS, email platforms, digital analytics tools, and marketing technologies. 

Understanding of digital compliance and accessibility best practices. 

Collaborative team player able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. 

Creative problem-solver with an innovative, continuous-improvement mindset. 

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Preferred: 

Experience implementing or administering marketing automation or personalization tools. 

Ability to design and interpret dashboards and reports. 

Strong presentation and communication skills.
