The Mercury Technology Solutions team (MTS) is a technology team focused on driving business growth while providing top quality customer and agent experience. Below are the disciplines where our internships are offered:
Application Engineering – Focuses on development and maintenance of all internal and external facing systems.
Software Quality Engineering - Focus on development and maintenance of Testing tools, frameworks and reusable test script libraries.
AI, Data and Automation – Focuses on the AI, Data platform and Decision and Automaton development, maintenance and testing.
Job Summary
We are seeking curious, passionate, and hard-working students from quantitative academic fields to participate in our fully remote summer internship program. The program will be highly collaborative and immersive, with interns working on real business problems that can span multiple business units within the complex insurance landscape.
But it won’t be all work! Mercury executives will host virtual lunch-and-learns with a small group of interns to discuss career aspirations, interns will get to meet Mercury people leaders and team members throughout the organization, and there will be a multitude of virtual social events.
An in-person interview may be required during the hiring process
Job Function
Interns will work with their managers and fellow interns within an interactive Agile framework that includes daily stand-ups and weekly tactical problem-solving sessions. Interns will also attend the broader meetings within their respective functions to help further contextualize their work. Over the course of the summer, interns will ultimately build a minimum viable product (MVP) and have a “capstone” opportunity to present those findings to the Mercury leadership team. Internships will begin in June 2026.
