Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Salesforce Administrator to support and optimize our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform for the organization. This role will work closely with business users, developers, and other administrators to ensure Salesforce is effectively supporting business processes and delivering value. 

This is a hands-on position requiring deep expertise in Salesforce administration, data integrity, and system configuration. Prior experience working as a Salesforce administrator and/or consultant for multiple years is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, user support, and ongoing platform optimization and the ability to communicate and collaborate with internal team members. 

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions: 

 

Salesforce Administration & Best Practices: 

• Configure and maintain Salesforce functionality, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, dashboards, permissions, and connected apps.

• Ensure Salesforce best practices are followed across the org, mentoring and peer reviewing the work of other administrators to improve their work and ensure consistency. 

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects and enhancements, and translate them into clear user stories for administrators and the tech team to configure and develop.

• Document system changes and create process maps and user guides to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.

 

Team Partnership: 

• Collaborate with the greater sales organization including sales leaders, sales reps, enablement, analytics, and engagement teams to ensure Salesforce meets business needs and delivers actionable data insights.

• Partner with the tech team including Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high productivity and quality standards.

• Develop, test, and deliver hands-on configuration of Salesforce solutions that align with sales and business priorities.

 

Project Support & Execution: 

• Partner with the tech team through the full project lifecycle of Salesforce enhancements and upgrades, from planning and design through execution, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. 

• Assist in coordinating with business stakeholders to gather feedback on changes and ensure project deliverables meet requirements

 

Data Integrity & Reporting: 

• Ensure data integrity within Salesforce by running audits, managing data migrations, and working with internal analytics teams to ensure data and reporting is aligned across internal sales systems. 

• Develop and maintain accurate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. 

 

User Support & Training: 

• Provide ongoing support, training, and documentation to end users to ensure optimal platform adoption and usage.

• Work directly with end users to resolve issues, gather feedback for enhancements, and improve system usability.

 

Continuous Improvement: 

• Monitor platform usage and adoption, proactively identifying opportunities for improvements and automation.

• Stay current with Salesforce releases and enhancements, applying relevant features to improve the platform

 

Qualifications

Education: 

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

• In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of directly related professional experience may be considered.

Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.

 

Experience:

Minimum: 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration or consulting experience.

Preferred: Salesforce certifications including, but not limited to:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator 

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II (Advanced Admin)

• Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration, administration, and end-user support. 

• Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, customizations, and best practices.

• Ability to mentor peers and review work for accuracy and improvement. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with users, technical teams, and consultants. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining data integrity and system usability.

Pay Range

USD $92,154.00 - USD $166,210.00 /Yr.
