This role is for Southern California Residents.

 

Position Summary:
-The primary job function is to supervise investigations into possible fraudulent claims.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

 

$74,955 to $130,915  (CA)

 

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Essential Job Functions:
-Encourages and oversees staff involvement in investigation action plans.
-Provides training and development of subordinate staff in investigation philosophy, techniques and procedures.
-Manages the work flow of the SIU staff in investigation of questionable claims.
-Assists with ensuring compliance with established claims practices and procedures, and for good rapport between the Company, agents and insureds.
-Reviews claim files to identify various exposures, assigns files, approves files for transfer or closure, and provides guidance to ensure proper handling of investigation.
-Monitors investigations and provides guidance throughout.
-Keep updated on developments in investigation and ensure that subordinates apply such knowledge when applicable.
-Assists with and facilitates involvement with law enforcement agencies.
-Maintains a small pending and assists administration from time to time with internal affairs.
-Carry out supervisory responsibilities with respect to employment, training and development, discipline, counseling, recommending salary/promotion, and evaluating performance.

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Related technical coursework

Experience:
• 4 - 6 years experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience to include investigation experience.
