State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

$118,465 to $245,448 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$107,695 to $204,540 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$96,926 to $184,086 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

 

Position Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for owning our product offering roadmap, which includes driving research, design, enhancement, and development of product features to meet the evolving needs of target customers and deliver meaningful impact and growth.  

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Set product offering roadmap and vision
  • Partner with Experience, Sales Development and MTS to understand the voice of customers (both insured and agents), identify opportunities, test hypotheses and lead iterative concept testing for new features and products.
  • Build business cases for new product offerings (new optional coverages, new ancillary products, proactive prevention solutions and value-added offering) to address target customer needs and establish/enhance our value proposition.
  • Research and find opportunities to enhance both the structure and delivery of existing products.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision, measure outcomes and drive execution.
  • Lead end-to-end new product offering launch including market research, product development/requirements and implementation. Collaborate with R&D to integrate new product features into product advancement as applicable.
  • Explore 3 party partnerships for different levels of engagement as needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create cohesive and overarching messaging for new product offering. 

 

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Master's degree desired in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. 

 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience working with property and casualty insurance industry products or 3+ years with a Master's Degree 
  • Supervisory experience required. 
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager I or equivalent position. 
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 or more years of experience building new coverages and/or products
  • Exposure to working with IoT or related devices

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven ability to constructively tackle new or complex problems and make data-driven decisions, often with limited or incomplete information.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of industry products and services, philosophy and best practices and the ability to apply such knowledge in a strategic capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to correspond with management, internal and external customers.
  • Advanced problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills. 
  • Relentlessly curious 
  • Entrepreneurial, experimental and data-driven leader with a passion for testing and developing new products in an ambiguous environment. Experience in start-up, corporate strategy, product development, and corporate spaces a plus.

Pay Range

USD $115,576.00 - USD $219,506.00 /Yr.
