State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

$89,906 to $170,421 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$81,733 to $154,928 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$73,560 to $139,435 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location. 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Reviews and obtains detailed understanding of project scope, requirements and design in order to utilize the appropriate test method to test against them.
  • Determines testing strategy and plan.
  • Develop and execute test cases that tests application changes and impacts based on functional requirements and design documents.
  • Develops, execute and debug automated test scripts, support the automation of individual test cases.
  •  Manages/develops comprehensive test plans from functional requirements and design specifications for medium to large scale projects.
  •  Provides leadership and work guidance on specific projects and resource management for team members.
  •  Manages activities to develop manual and/or SOA test cases in black/grey box environments that can be transitioned to automated scripts after successful manual execution of functional/regression and system tests
  • Actively participates in requirements and design review meetings
  • Ensures problems arising from troubleshooting efforts are isolated and documented to facilitate problem resolution
  • Ensures team documents test execution results in specified tracking tool
  • Researches and communicates to senior QA management the latest information on software test process improvements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • CTFL is required.
  • JAVA certification preferred.


Experience:

  • 6+ years of working experience in SQA fields or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Working experience should include 4-5 Years experience in developing automation test cases and test scripts.
  • Work experience with Jira/Confluence is required.
  • Work experience troubleshooting Commercial Software is required.
  • 3+ years team lead experience or team lead training.
  • 3+ Working Experience with Agile methodology
  •  Insurance domain knowledge would be a plus
